RSC16 Green Bow Ties

I'm so excited about this bow tie quilt. This month's Rainbow Scrap Challenge color was forest green. I got all of the green bow ties done.

And since I didn't start until April, I've also got to get the first 3 months done. I managed to squeeze in 80 purple blocks too.
I now have 3 colors done. Once I get caught up, it'll seem pretty easy to only have one color to do each month!

Anytime I feel like I may have bitten off more than I can chew, I go back and look at my inspiration photo and I get all fired up again. I really, really want this quilt to get finished.

I think next month I'll do brown plus the June color.

  1. I just looked back at your earlier bowtie posts. I've seen the quilt that inspired your project, and it is incredible! Are you really making 2" blocks? They are looking terrific!

    1. They really are only 2" finished! But they stitch up so fast I can't believe it. Thanks for the encouragement. :)

    1. Yes - you should definitely do this! It's almost embarrassing how quick and easy they are. You could even make a few this year to put away for next year's RSC. ;)
